This collection contains recordings and transcriptions of interviews with alumni, faculty, board members, and staff about their experiences at the Curtis Institute of Music as well as aspects of their own careers. The majority of the interviews were conducted by Naomi and Gary Graffman, as well as Diana Burgwyn. The latter conducted interviews in 2000-2003 in preparation for the writing of Curtis's 75th Anniversary book. Newer recordings represent donated interviews and those conducted by archivists. Only those recordings where the interviewee is deceased or has given express permission that the recording may be released during their lifetime are available to listeners.
